Privacy notice
This site exists to announce a forthcoming legal treatise. It collects the minimum needed to do that, and nothing that concerns any immigration case.
What is collected
The launch list form collects your email address and, optionally, a first name — used for a single publication notice when the manual is released. Nothing else is collected, and the address is used for no other purpose.
What is never collected
No form on this site accepts case narratives, client information, or A-numbers, and none has a free-text field that could carry them. Please keep case facts out of every field. Nothing you submit creates an attorney–client relationship.
Where it is processed
Your email address and optional first name are transmitted to Kit (formerly ConvertKit; Kit Inc.), our email-delivery provider, which stores the launch list and processes it for a single purpose: one notification when the manual is published. Because the list uses double opt-in, your address is held as unconfirmed — and receives no mail other than the confirmation request — until you click the confirmation link. This site keeps no subscriber database of its own, and its application code does not intentionally log form contents or email addresses — ordinary technical metadata may be processed by the hosting infrastructure (Vercel). No analytics trackers are currently active. If analytics are enabled in the future, they will be cookieless, aggregate page statistics only, and no advertising trackers will be used.
Retention and deletion
Unsubscribe links appear in every email. To have your email address deleted from the launch list, write to immigrationlawunlocked@gmail.com and it will be removed.
